Marine & Offshore CAT 7 Cable (MUD RES)

The cable is RoHS compliant (Directive 2011/65/EC) and features a fire-retardant, zero-halogen (LSZH) construction to support safer operation in enclosed and high-risk areas. Its jacket is UV-resistant for long-term outdoor exposure, while the halogen-free design complies with IEC 60754-1.

• Bare copper conductors, 23 AWG
• Insulation: foamed Polyethylene (PE) with skin for stable electrical performance and improved impedance control

Pair Screening

• 2 conductors twisted into each pair
• Individual pair screen: Aluminium-laminate foil, overlapped and applied longitudinally for strong EMC shielding

Core

• Integrated strain relief for improved mechanical stability during installation and operation
• 4 individually screened twisted pairs
• Pair colour sequence: WH/BU – WH/OG – WH/GN – WH/BN
• Overall shield: tinned copper wire braid, 0.1 mm diameter (38 AWG)
• Braid coverage: approx. 55%

Outer Jacket

• Jacket material: special thermoplastic copolymer, black (BK)
• Wall thickness: approx. 1.0 mm in accordance with IEC 60092-376
