The BETAtrans® 3 GKW ENX FE180 CC-flex is specially designed for use inside and outside of rail vehicles and buses. These cables maintain their function over a limited period in the event of a fire and are suitable for connecting fixed and moving parts such as emergency lamps, flue gas outlets and switchgear.
The halogen free cable is made of class 5 tinned fine copper strands, both insulation and outer sheath are electron-beam cross-linked and has an increased environmental compatibility.

Typical areas of application is the protected installations inside and outside of rail vehicles and buses.

This cable which keeps its function for a limited period of time during fire impacts is used for the connection of:

• Emergency lamps
• Smoke exhaust systems  
• Electrical appliances

For installation the guidelines of EN 50355 and EN 50343 must be considered.
